In the Pearl there are many characteristics that come out in the following characters after the pearl is found.

Kino: Some characteristics that come out in Kino is helping his people by sending Koyotito to school to learn to read. Also he wants to make his family happy by actually getting married.

Juana: The characteristics that come out in Juana is that she is happy with what she has. All she wants to use the Pearl for is the heal her baby. Her baby is the most important thing besides her husband.

The Doctor: The Doctor tells the person that he is working with when he hears about the Pearl that Kino and Juana were his clients. So some greed comes out in the Doctor.

The Priest: The priest is telling Kino that he needs to donate the pearl to the chuch because the church needs the money more than he does.

The townspeople: The townspeople want Kino to come to the shops and buy things from them.

All in all the pearl has brought greed to the whole town while Kion wants the money for his family.
